A: For beautiful and timeless family photos, I recommend neutral or earthy tones like beige, soft blues, greens, and pastels. Denim also works well. Layers and textures (like knitted jumpers or scarves) can add warmth and depth to your photos.

A: The key to a great family photoshoot with children is keeping it fun and stress-free! I encourage natural play, exploring, and interaction so kids feel comfortable. My sessions are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable, so there’s no pressure for them to sit still or pose in a particular way.

A: You don’t need to bring much, but a few small items can help make the session even smoother. I recommend bringing snacks and water (especially for little ones), a favourite toy or comfort item to help keep children engaged, extra layers like a jumper or jacket in case it gets chilly, a hair clip for windy days and baby wipes or tissues for quick clean-ups.

A: Yes! I understand that families have busy schedules, so I offer weekend and evening sessions. Sunset sessions are particularly beautiful, providing the perfect natural lighting for your photos.


Photos, Delivery & Optional Extras

Q: How long does it take to receive our photos?

A: You’ll receive your fully edited, high-resolution digital images within 1-2 weeks via a private online gallery, where you can download them instantly.

Q: Can we bring pets to our outdoor family photoshoot?

A: Absolutely! Dogs and other pets are part of the family, and I love including them in my sessions. Just let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly.

Q: Do you offer black-and-white versions of our photos?

A: Yes! If you’d like black-and-white edits of some of your images, just let me know. I can provide a mix of both colour and black-and-white versions for a timeless look. Additional costs will apply. 


Weather & Rescheduling

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor photography session?

A: If the weather is bad, we can reschedule your session to a better day. Light drizzle can add a unique touch to photos, but for heavy rain or strong winds, I’ll work with you to find a new date.

Q: What if my children don’t sit still or don’t want to pose?

A: That’s completely fine! My approach to natural family photography is all about capturing real interactions. I encourage movement, play, and fun to create authentic and joyful family portraits.
